Xotic Pedals any good?

lol!

I use a x-blender with a bass bb preamp. It sounds great and has some extra frills here and there. I'm not looking to own a plethora of pedals as well, really just for some texture. A little ironic how the TWO pedals are used to achieve a blended subtle drive.

This is a good clip for it -

Regarding the discontinued preamp, if that's the Tri-logic, i've looked at that too, but did not pull trigger on that one.

Great video! I need the get the x-blender to go with my BB preamp.

The RC Booster is an awesome transparent boost, as well as having gain/overdrive...it doesnt change the character of your bass, just pushes the amp more. I have been using it to make my MM Jazz (in passive mode) distort the preamp on a Trace Elliot all-tube V6/NV610 rig...sounds killer, and still sounds like a jazz. Although that might be leaving once my P Bass Deluxe arrives next week, I tried a friends previously and that is almost unbeatable for pick/hard rock... :D

ps its a great guitar pedal also.

Tried the the Robotalk in a shop last winter and was pretty impressed. The 2 settings feature is pretty useful IMO. Also considering the Groove Regulator, which I haven't tried yet. Can you compare between the 2 ?

I have not had the opportunity to spend any serious time with the Groove Regulator. I was once in the studio and a guitar player had one. I got to spend less than 5 minutes with it. Not enough time to give it a respectful review.

Owner of both the RC and BB pedal, which are absolutely at the high-point of what they're made to do - I can't imagine my PB without them... especially

I use the RC and BB pedal as well. Super clean and it doesn't take a lot of heavy tweaking to get great sounds out of these pedals.

the BB overdrive, which for my money is the best "SVT-In-A-Box" out there. :)

I have to agree.

I'm a Xotic endorser.
