XR18 and music issue

Seems like you don't have LR select under Main Output. Without that signal will show on the Aux channel, but it'll never get to the Main LR.

The original poster wanted to play tracks (music) from an i-Phone via the AUX inputs 17 and 18 of an XR18 and have the audio come out of the mains. I had the same problem. Signal registered on the AUX input but no output from Main. This video solved the problem for me. I hope it helps.

Sorry if I have misread all of the responses and muddied the thread.

As I'm reading the thread, I got confused because the OP kept saying AUX in!! Were you referring to 'line in, 17/18'?
No need for confusion or condescension. The first two posts specifically state "17/18" if you were actually reading.

In addition, when you go in the X air app, the control slider is labeled as AUX, which controls 17/18. That's why it's referred to as "aux" in this thread.

Was a legitimate question!! I did see 17/18 was mentioned so I looked on the front panel and did not see AUX! I see LINE IN. I thought I was missing something. If you want to take that as condescension......so be it! Carry on.

Seemed like it was a passive aggressive attempt, that's why it was taken as condescending. All other posts up until yours, though different in content, were helpful and appeared with honest, helpful intent. At any rate, as the attached picture from the X Air app shows, the manufacturer of the mixer calls channels 17/18 "AUX" from a control standpoint as well as other TB'ers in this thread referenced it as such (post #10 and #22). No, it's not printed on the front of the mixer and it does say "Line", but it appears it's a common understanding referencing 17/18 by AUX is not confusing, inaccurate, or wrong.

Additionally, your initial response to the original topic didn't provide any insight or helpful information, but more of a "drive by" or "sniper shot" of a smart aleck comment. Could intent be misinterpreted? Yes, it's text, not an actual spoken conversation. Also, the original question from post 1 was rectified per post #16. I have carried on.
