Yamaha BB-1200. Should I sell????

I have an old(1981) Yamaha BB-1200 that I've been contemplating about selling. I am currently not playing it and have often thought,Should I sell it? Realizing of course that this is a personal preference I am leaning more toward keeping it because down the line I may just decide to use it as my main starting lineup bass. What are your thoughts???

I believe that it may be synonymous with "the specific lining up of the planets" ,but my sound taste/choice changes from time to time which is exactly why I have reservations about selling the BB-1200. Although, I must admit that this is the longest period of time I've gone without playing it. I should probably slap a new set of strings on it. It currently has a set of DR black beauties which I enjoyed at first, but now have grown to dislike.

I have owned 2 over the years--a natural I bought new waaaay back in the day, and a burst I had 5-6 years ago. I kick myself repeatedly over letting both of them go. I'd keep it if you can. Though you might not get much for it now, I wouldn't be surprised if they appreciated a bit in years to come.

Just spent a nice, relaxing Sunday evening getting back "in touch" with my BB1200! :smug:
