GET OVER IT! SAVE $300!!! and love it!
Really considering getting one of these. Where are they made?
For about the ten thousandth time, replacing your bleed cap with an Orange Drop -- or any other -- capacitor of the identical value will have absolutely NO effect on your tone.
Pass it on and save the world from superstition and wishful thinking.
Are you able to weigh it? Mine weighs about 9.5 lbs.
I swapped the stock 250k pots for some 500k pots I had lying around. The tone pot has an orange drop capacitor, and now, this thing is nasty!
So...any particular brand of volume/tone pots? I love simple mods, and I really want that neck pup to give me a solid P tone.
Weird thing is, the B string doesn't project like the others while on the neck pup, but the bridge pup seems totally even. I'm thinking maybe a high mass Hipshot bridge would help this out, as the stock one has the B string set back.
Is it possible to get the weight of the exact bass you're buying?
I don't need a new bass said:But...these models are probably being phased out, great price for a new one! I almost bought an old worn out BBxxx from GC a while back, for $250! It's hard to beat, especially in 5 string flavor.
