I regularly daisy chained 3 8 ohm wedges off the monitor channel. I did this for years and years with success. There is one "Aux send" on this box ( It really shouldn't be called that, but they call it that) and I assume they are referring to the Mon out, which you can hook an amp to. I don't know how that will help gt a separate mix though. We never tried. We put 3 wedges on the monitor channel, 2 mains on the main channel and used the L Mon out for a power amp and a sub.
Are you saying you ran three 8 ohm cabs off one of the power amps in parallel? That is 2.67 ohms BTW
Are we talking about the same head? There is no Aux send anywhere. There is a send for the FX for using an external FX unit then bringing the return back into one of the stereo channels. That is a fairly normal Soundman trick. I had not thought about it until you said something about two separate monitor mixes. If one did not want FX at all he could use the FX for a separate monitor mix out to a power amp or powered cab. There is a monitor send out and a L/R mains send out but no Aux send.
