Yamaha TRB 4

I have a 13 year old yamaha TRB 4 string that is my go to instrument. Never a problem. Today I take it out of the case and tune it, plug it in and no signal. Checked it with tuner still no signal. Replace TRB with another bass, same cord, amp etc. Works fine. Replace the battery, still nothing. It thumps when I take the battery in and out. Opened the back and found it's a really nice neat circuit board. Nothing unplugged, looks good inside. Any thoughts, help???

I'm guessing a wire/contact got bumped and interrupted the circuit

If you had the bass plugged in when u changed the battery then it will burn up the pre amp in the bass. I did this one on my trb4p and had to get the pre-amp replaced. .

Also if you plug a battery in backwards, it can fry the preamp. Just a thought.

When was the last time the bass worked?
