The OP asked about the resonance knob. All the way right is "tight" low end and all the way left is "loose" low end. The scoop know only works with the little button pressed in. BTW you should try that. It will help you in the mix.

I have the same 210 cab ( assuming it is the Traynor one), I also have the 1x15. If I only take one it is the 15. The 210 is a nice cab but it lacks authority in the low end. It adds really nice punch though. Using it alone I would turn off the tweeter. My eq would be treble 0, mids cutting a little low mid, bass at about 4 to 5. Keep the gain below half unless you want overdrive and turn up the master.

No. It works differently. Vintage studio eqs were subtractive only which is a much better way to do eq if you want a clean sounding mix. Boosting always adds noise and that's also how and why band volume wars start. It's just a different way of thinking about eq.

I grant you a good parametric eq is a godsend for surgically tweeking a small band of frequency in a way that passive eq never could.

Fender tone stacks aren't subtractive only, though. The mids are cut only, but the bass and treble are essentially boost only.
