Yet another 'can you identify this bass?' thread...Can you, please?

The seller claims this bass is an 'AXI' (which I've never heard of, nor can I find any information on it).

I've never seen this kind of headstock anywhere. Apparently it's 'brand new', and it's been relic'd/antique'd.

There's no close-up photos, unfortunately. Just this one.

In looking back at the e-mail, it does kind of look like a lower case 'L'...Once again, I've embarrassed myself on the internet. Thanks for the help, guys!

I've got the chance to chisel him down around 80, let's hope he bites! I just want a bass I can tinker with, practice defretting, et cetera.

The Axl basses sell on Ebay all the time for pretty cheap. If I remember right, they're something like $100 brand new.
