Another satisfied Yorkville customer.....

Started with Traynor 8 years ago, Work with traynor now.
Got me a Yorkville Bassmaster XM100C!! Rock on!! I'm in the club.
Sorry if this has been beaten to death recently:
Is the XM200 all that much better than the blue BM200?
Also, a 400B is on CL for $350. Should I nab it?
Got a question for you Yorkville/Traynor folks. I've got an XM100 and it is a terrific amp, but I want an extension cab so I don't have to crank it up so loud. I'd like to stay with Yorkville because they are everywhere around me and I like the brand. Any suggestions?
I assume your XM100 is the 1x15"? Find a used Yorkville 2x10 cab. Cheap all day long on eBay (especially the old blue fur ones!) And probably plentiful on the used market up there in the N.S.!
That should pair up nicely....
Whoops, I should have mentioned that in my original post but yes it is the 1x15". Thanks for the suggestion I'll definitely check it out. And I'd love to be in the club too, I'm stickin' with Yorkville 'till the end.

And this is why the club exists....for expert advice like this from our friend 62 Bass!
Thanks man.
You can't add an extension cab to that combo. It would then be operating below its minimum load. You could possibly find a powered cabinet somewhere and use it, but that's expensive, bulky and far too complicated. Too bad, but that's the way it works with many of the lower powered amps.
Come up with some bucks and move up to the 200 watter-either the new Traynor Dynabass or the older Yorkville XM200C if you can find one. I used the Yorkville for gigs for about a year. Very capable amp and it will handle an extension cabinet if you need it. The new Traynor model is somewhat improved over the Yorkville and a bit easier to move around. Still made in Canada. You can't get better quality or reliability for the price.
