You get a bass as a 1-time gift.

With all the other constraints I'd pass. Generally very happy with what I have. However if you were to tell me I would have to give up one bass for this and I couldn't get the old bass back, I'd bite on that.

In that case I'd say F Bass. Been wanting to own one for a while.

"Cohnway" These look amazing. They look great, just think they would make "my" Bass. Saw them on Reverb. Also like Drake Basses.

3. All your other basses are gone, and you can't buy basses anymore.

For the purpose of this exercise, I just assumed that "all my basses are gone" meant they all got destroyed in a fire or something. Tragic, yes... but given that context, would I accept the gift of a new bass from a builder whose instruments I have never played before? With the condition that it's my last bass, and I'm not going to buy any more basses?

I didn't take it to mean that I'm going to sell all my basses just to participate. Given that context, I figured I could do it, and I went with Ruokangas.
