You have a month or so left to live

I bet it would be VERY freeing! I think most of us would feel down, but come to acceptance of it very quickly. A lot of us would do things that we probably never thought of doing before that. Could actually be the best month of your life.

Sorry my friend. My brain is not linking my determined day of death to anything freeing. It would suck, and I'd come around to accept it, but it just isn't something I see as a positive.

I don't live my life knowing I am going to die because even though it is a reality, it isn't pre-determined when. I could die choking on some apple pie tonight, or I could 50 years from now in my sleep.

When I find out I will die in 30 days, that puts an entire different perspective on it for me.

-Mike

So just give up? If you're still feeling good, why not get every last bit of life you can out of that 30 days? You'd rather just check out? Really?

I don't imagine myself enjoying life with a countdown clock ticking in my head. I wouldn't say I am giving up.

-Mike

But in this case all the rules have been lifted. There are no more repercussions. Provided you don't do anything to hurt anyone else, why not live freely? It's your last chance. What you're proposing sounds like if you came across a big windfall and decided not to spend any of it for fear you might waste it. Wouldn't you want to enjoy it while it was there?

I wouldn't make that comparison, it doesn't really match up.

I'm not a miser, I don't live a sheltered life. I'm not afraid of death. I just don't picture my life being enjoyable knowing that I have such a short time to live. So instead of waiting for that day to come, I'll say my goodbyes and get it over with.

I'd blow my brains out somewhere or in some situation in which it would cause maximum distress to others.

Like propose marriage to my last ex and plan the wedding within the time frame, then do myself during the vows.

I'd buy an 8 ball of coke and some whiskey. I'd then steal a Ferrari, park it outside a bank, and go inside with 2 .44 Magnums and rob it. I'd then peel out and head to Vegas, picking up a smoking hot hitchhiker with big breasts, snorting coke, drinking whiskey and shooting off my guns, laughing like a complete maniac all while out running the cops.

Hunter, is that you?!?

I don't want a month, I want a week! In that period of time I can hunt down a few folks who need it, whack 'em, leave before the fuzz shows up, then spend my last day or two in the most expensive hotel in Hawaii with hookers and blow :)

That or everything before the hookers and blow, then suicide by cop or just a plain Blaze O' Glory. I don't really want the cops to die, but I'm not boffing off in a jail cell.

Peace,
Greg

Another revenge post...more people seems to prefer it to masturbation.
