I'm with you:
you and the campaign still miss the mark, any word can be used a a slur.
Nerd, Brainiac, Know it all, Teacher's Pet, Momma's Boy, Do Gooder ETC......

all positive things really, can be used as epithets.
The Use of ANY word to attempt to belittle, demean, deface, embarrass another that has the power...

NOT the WORD.
Calling someone a Hippie, Yippie, Tree Hugger, Vegetarian, Meat Eater, Religious Drone, Christian, Jew, Muslim, Brit, Scott, White, Black, African, Caucasian, Cop, Politician, any DESCRIPTIVE WORD you can think of can be used in a derisive manner.......

Guitarist and bassist walk into a bathroom and use the urinals.....Guitar player finishes first and washes his hands. The bass player finishes and goes to leave. Guitarist says " we guitar players wash our hands....you are disgusting". Bass player says....." Bass players don't piss on their hands.".....

How do you know a singer is at your door? They have trouble finding the key and when they do they don't know when to come in.

How do you know the drum riser is level? The drool comes out of both sides of the drummers mouth.

Did you hear about the bass player who was so depressed about his bad timing that he threw himself behind a train.
