You must be a bass player

I probably own 25 pair. I tend to like Revlon. They stay sharper longer than cheap-o gas station ones. They're in my pocket, bag, bass cases, rehearsal space, bathroom and otherwise sprinkled about my existence.

Nobody's mentioned nail clippers ... you've got to have the nail clippers.

No, but there's one somewhere around the house, plus a hammered dulcimer, 3-octave set of orchestra bells (glockenspiel), marimba...

Here's mine... built it myself.

I feel it's also safe to say that bass players often have more professional lives all around. Maybe it's accepting up front that we're in supporting roles and are good team players who like the stability of a good and regular paycheck? Also huge cross-over into the IT world. Low-end nerds unite! Also, being a grown up suuuuucks.
This post needs three "like" buttons...

As the bassist in our band I carry my bass my amp and my cables.....and the p.a. and lights and trailer with the gear and cases of leads and spare leads and if need be could supply guitar and amp. I have gotten past carrying a spare bass amp tho.
