That session just about killed me. It was hard music to get right. We play live often but I was looking for some more delicate timbre's than is usually possible to get in a live club situation so there was a lot more experimenting the day of the session than I am used too but when it worked, it worked well. For that project specifically, I am always asking if there is a way to make timbre functional to the music and intrinsically linked to the harmony and melody. I am starting to feel like I've got the energy again to think about recording another record with that group again. Hopefully 2023 but it may be 2024.

Ha! Awesome and fun. I love that era of music just for the fearlessness of the production aesthetics if no other reason.
