Deaf Pea's band is quite the mash-up of genres...
Yeah . . . I REALLY like the mix of styles . . . we play blues, rock'n roll, punk, heavy, reggae, hard rock, r 'n b, funk, rockabilly, ska, latin rhythms (tumbao, son, guapango) and more, sometimes within the same song!
Deaf Pea's band is quite the mash-up of genres, and I dug that too while (despite me baing a Maiden fan) chuckling at yet another drummer that doesn't dress properly for gigs.
Killer chops that drummer!!
He's the one that first attracted me to the group . . . he's definitly into metal, but his favorite drummers are John Bonham, Steve Gadd, David Garibaldi, and, did I mention John Bonham?
Although he's young (he was 18 years old when I first met him 14 years ago), he GROOVES like a MF! :hyper: :hyper: Probably the John Bonham influence . . .

He does, you're lucky :D

All my clips are here - hope you dig some of them - a few groove things and some jazzy stuff, mainly on my fretless - the last three were done since I got my new Epifani head so there's a slight change in my sound, though saying that I've been mainly gigging with my little Baby baby Blue combo:

My (unfortunately disbanded) "Stoner rock/doom" band King Bowman

Edit: Oh yeah.

Bass: Dean Edge Q-4 (Unmetalist bass ever, I got it when I wanted to be exclusively jazzy/funky)
Amp: Traynor Mono Block II (Thanks to TB's Smash for recommending this amp I still love)
Cab: Sunn 215... not sure about speakers and all that, I don't get THAT into gear.
