yes it's me on bass in a staged music video that's out of sync but I had to post this as a memorial to one of the best guitar players I have known...Ridgley Snow.
Ridgley takes a decent guitar solo in this by the way, even though this borders on comedy.

FYI...bass is a Basses Loaded 5 by Bill Merchant (I purchased this from the bassist in Aerosmith) into a Trace Elliot AH250 head with a Trace 4x10 cab (I purchased this rig from the bassist in Third World)
...and believe or not, Fran Sheehan (bassist for Boston) dug our live performance so much he showered me with compliments about how he wished he could get that tone and have the same technique (go figure???)

Here's a song from the project I worked with this past summer at the Wilma Theater in Philadelphia:



The show was built around fusing classical and Broadway pieces with straight-ahead rock. For example, one of the songs was Puccini's Nessun Dorma, in an arrangement heavily influenced by Led Zeppelin's Kashmir. But we also did some straight covers, and this was one of them.

I was playing my 2008 MIA P Bass, direct to FOH through a Countryman DI into an Avalon tube compressor (though I don't think the Avalon was in the signal path for this recording).
