Hey your son is a gr8 player. I have seen Roger Glover play this song live (he is all over the bass) at least two dozen times and your son is nailing it. If your son was on stage w DP Roger would probably let him take over on bass.

Here is my band's promo video, which was filmed with my Flip Mino video cam by our very generous soundman. I spliced the clips together using Windows Movie Maker. Sound quality is not terrible, but not fantastic either. This clip features a couple pops by me on Gimme Some Lovin'. This gives you an idea what happens when you slap or pop with a Fender Jazz strung with flats. I like that sound! Gear for me on that gig was The J-bass and Fender 9050L flats, played through my SVT-III Pro and Epi PS112 cab and Trace Elliot 1518c cab, for the 4 ohm load. Plenty load for my purposes in this band.

And here are 3 other videos I made, both are Movie Maker creations, featuring my other band a jazz group, using 2 still photos and audio captured with my Zoom H2. Gear on this gig was the same J-bass, but now with my new LMII that I got after I sold my III-Pro. Cab was just the PS112, which is perfect for these jazz gigs. I like how much bass I got in the mix! You will hear that I am definitely still getting my jazz chops together. Learning to solo better, learning heads, working on reading bass clef better. All a work in progress...
