Just found this the other day. Funny what shows up on YouTube. This was probably done about 1990 or so. I directed and edited this video for a student project when I was in film school. It was shot on a old Super 8mm film camera I bought at a yard sale for $30! The band footage was shot on the old A&M Records sound stage. A little crude, but hey, videos were still kind of a new thing back then!

At the time I was using a Zon Legacy Elite, a Trace Elliot head with one of the very first SWR Goliath 410 cabs and an Energy 15" cab on bottom. The recording suffered the greatest sin an engineer can commit....too much compression, which sucked the life out of the tone. But hey, I still think it's a great song, so I guess all is good.

I found an old VCR tape the other day of me in a band from the 1980's. I put this vid together from some of that footage.

Me & the Guitar player are back together for a new project .. stay tuned for some new vids ... 20 years later ... same guys less hair :)

Funny how life works sometimes.

here's some footage from a gig i played recently with my psychedelic band. playing my mid 60's hagstrom, strung piccolo (tuned f,f,c,f) through delay, fuzz, a walkabout head, and a marshall 4x12 cab.

can't hear guitars much, as the camera is camped a couple feet in front of my amp...
