For me, the Source Audio Atlas. It’s by far the best compressor I’ve ever used. It’s the last word in compression! It’s a very easy dial in and I love the user assignable knobs in the desktop interface.
I also bought a Source Audio Collider as an entry into the Source Audio Reverbs. It’s very good and surprisingly simple to operate.

I don't do dirt/distortion much so I wanted a single pedal that can do darn near everything.

This can get close enough to any fuzz/distortion/OD sound I'd need.

It's a wonder to me that more dirt pedals don't have graphic EQ built in.

not a fancy or fun pedal, but I think it deserves a mention in the always-on workhorse category. Had it about six years and it’s the only pedal that never leaves the board.

I have had a habit of moving overdrive pedals on and off my pedalboards - never really content with on for any length of time, until, this year. A Genzler 4 on the floor took up residence on my bigger board, and seems to be stuck there. Likewise, I had a Pike Vulcan on the shelf for a couple of years, it won a shootout of all the smaller overdrives I have, and it seems to be stuck on my smaller board. That one isn't new to me (I've had it a few years), but the fact that I'm somehow very happy with what it does is - I think I twisted the knobs into a configuration I hadn't tried before or something.

I thought my main board was complete with 2 Darkglass ODs, Alpha Omicron and Microtubes X, but las November I got a Solid Gold FX Beta DLX and that one send my DG pedals to the to sell list.

I also got the chance this month to get my hands on a Darkglass Element, maybe not properly a pedal, as it has other capabilities, but it's an amazing practice and simplifying tool.

Those two are the best of 2022

What pedal rocked my world this year? The accelerator pedal on the 2018 mustang I bought in November, that's what!. 420BHP 5 litre V8 on Scottish roads - so much more fun than playing the bass to a bunch of miserable drunks in our local pubs

The pedal you traded me for that, the Fifth Gear, is my runner up for this year. It just fits in perfectly with my rig and gig.

The winner for me is my Meatball clone. Best filter I've played, ever. I'm happy to play gigs with just these two pedals between a tuner and a DI.

Honorable mention to the Parabellum v2, which is incredible and probably going to be one of those legend pedals going forward, but just didn't fit my gig.

I really wanted it to be the Eventide H90, but my estimated arrival date has been bumped (significantly) from its original date of...well, today, actually.

Non-audio pedalboard devices perhaps the Morningstar ML10X?
