There's a bunch out there, I have a clone made on a Dunwich PCB but just four knobs like the original.

I love using a EBS Fuzzmo! It sounds kinda nasty (in a bad way) when played solo, but in a band setting it sits REALLY well. Also very versstile (I use to unleash mayhem in rock songs and add creamy, synthy fuzz on pop songs).
Bit of an update to this, I just got a new 2019 version Modified HM2 from Dunwich, with the low knob dropped to about 70hz rather than the usual 80-100ish. It's crazy good. CRAZY. I'm currently mulling what would make sense to take off the board to make room. The MAX setting (clean blend bypassed, gain and all tone controls dimed) doesn't seem terribly useful to me but it's kind of fun to have. Even without that extra gimmick though, it's a really, really good sounding heavy distortion.

Message him, he's going to be busy for the next couple or so months with a kid on the way but when things slow down he might build it for you. I've had him do a customized Wraith-M2 for me and he was really cool about it.
How does the Wraith compare? Yeah, Nick's the man.
The Wraith-M2 is considerably higher gain, and bassier with the low knob turned up. Almost too bassy really, but not quite. Being that it's a Rat-based circuit the Wraith-M2 is unsurprisingly more abrasive sounding than the modded HM2, though there is a certain raggety edge that the modded HM2 gets when you just hit the string that isn't quite there in the same way with the Wraith-M2. I run them both at 18 volts; if for whatever reason you absolutely do not want to do that IMO 9 volts is kinder to the modded HM2; that massive low on the Wraith-M2 gets a bit mushy without 18 volts.
They are both true to the original HM2 circuit in that the tone knobs have much, MUCH more effect at the very end of their range than in the middle. I dime the lows and set the highs to 3 o'clock on both; the mids on the modded HM2 are also at 3 o'clock, whereas I dime them on the Wraith-M2. The difference between 3 o'clock and dimed is pretty massive.
EQD Acapulco Gold, underrated distortion/fuzz for bass. Nothing better than having a pedal that just sounds good when you turn it on, no knob twiddling to confuse things.
Don't have a favorite, some form of muff/superfuzz variant with sharp edge works.
My current favorite is MXR Bass Fuzz Deluxe; where I can dial the clean & wet sound independently.
