Your favorite Slap tune!

It's funny that just about every bass demo youtube video has people playing slap, but I don't really hear a lot of music with slap.
Maybe post a youtube link to your favorite song. I'm looking for some tasteful lines and just good bass parts that enhance the song a as whole but if you got some crazy fast and fancy stuff that's cool too! :thumbsup:

His playing is impossibly clean and precise. I think that's what makes him so satisfying to listen to. I have always been really impressed with Stuart Clayton's take on 'D-Code' with a five string bass. Alain plays it on a six where the fingering makes much more sense. Stuart has to make much bigger jumps between the positions when he plays it, but with no more time to move around.



As a nice bit of trivia, I now own the bass Stuart is using in the video here though my attempt at playing this song is nowhere near as good as his!

Ryan Martini (Mudvayne) is one of my favorite slappers. I really like his overall playing style in the br00ts genre and drew a lot of inspiration from him.

His sickness is nearly impossible to hide, even in his psychedlic band (on fretless)

Nice clips. Stanley Clarke was a great album and really opened my ears up to what Clarke did for the instrument. Looking forward to hearing him on a recently acquired CD, Live at the Greek.

Every so often, someone will post Louis Johnson as the bassist on "Mr. Briefcase".
The LP's inner sleeve has credits for each song.
The CD (& cassette, apparently) only list the players by their instruments.
