My favorite is Plasticman--the original version.
He was wacky & fun and inventive.
And there was a 70's revival that wasn't bad either--with villains like Dr Forklift--the Cyborg Centaur.

Then it's Spidey & Bats

I thought Evans would be perfect. I was more concerned about the uniform and the attitude of Cap... and how they would pull that off. That was one of the things I liked about the first movie... that they paid homage to the original uniform.. even the original shield.. but then the brought it up to speed. The one that really concerned me was Thor... I think Thor was the film that they could have really messed up but they did a great job from casting to costume and bringing the arealm eternal to the big screen. In theMarvelverse I actually dug all the main players. I remember when Cap and IronMan and Namor and The Hulk shared a book and I started reading DD when he had the yellow tights..... The only Marvel character that I never really got into was Dr. Strange. I read the books when they were around... I have a H.S. friend that I met in the 5th grade who collected comics and he actually turned me on to Marvel... This guy hasllection probably valued in the millions now... I am talking first editions and the first hundreds... at least.... of every Marvel book. EVERY ONE. The FF, The Avengers and of course The X-Men were all favorites as well.

To tell the truth I forgot about The Green Lantern. He was actually another DC favorite of mine... I even had my own Lantern made from a coffee can that I used to recharge my ring in the morning in... ;).

Of course... for me anyway the whole Superhero thing started with Superman.... but once I discovered Marvel it was more or less over for DC for me with the exception of Batman... I started reading Spidey when Ditko was still drawing him.. I used to like The Creeper too....... but my favorites..... were Spidey and Batman..
