Your favorite U2 album?

Joshua Tree followed by War. My first iPod was the U2 iPod that came out 2005-ish. It was black with a red wheel in the middle (it came out when How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb was released).

I've been a huge fan for close to 25 years.

I'll give another strong vote for the "October" love. For many years it was my favourite U2 album. I've also got a soft spot for "Boy". Their early work just doesn't get enough credit, and even by the time Unforgettable Fire came out, it seemed to be dismissed in favour of the new work.

Of course, Joshua Tree and Achtung Baby are all-time classics too. Really, there isn't much U2 that I don't love.

No love for Under a Blood Red Sky? It's got "11 o'Clock Tick Tock" on it, with a cool bass line that sounds like a New Wave single.

+1

That has always been my favorite U2 album, the atmosphere on Party Girl,40 and pretty much every other sound on that record take me back to a special place in my childhood.
Then come Achtung Baby for being very brave and Joshua Tree minus "I still haven't found..." as a pure delight!
