Your favorite unique bass shape

OldWalnutBass.jpg

Walnut body I built, chambered, Warwick neck, headstock re-worked with scroll.

The odd squarish pickguard around the reverse-p G&L pickup hides many previous experiments with different pickups routing.

I've liked the B.C. Rich Bich and Mockingbird styles since they first came out (yes, I'm old..), as well as the original Steinberger XL, the Explorer, and a very obscure bass by Labaye, the 2x4.

My all-time fave is the "cresting wave" Rickenbacker 4001, but its not exactly an unknown shape...
