Your favourite fretboard?

I have basses with all three.
Ascetically maple looks right on a Fender, but would just be wrong on an elegant jazz guitar.
Playing wise each feels and sounds a little different

I also like the look and feel of cocobolo.

So no real favorite.

I prefer maple, if it's BEM or flamed, that's just extra cake.

I'd prefer Pau Ferro over rosewood if its optionsal, because of the lighter grain. I don't like it when rosewood is too dark, but I do like a lighter shade of red in it.

I recently had a fretless with Tiger Stripe ebony, was wicked cool.

I don't know why, I just don't like the rosewood. I actually love the pao ferro on my fmtV jazz. But I stick to maple. I just like the lighter look.

I own all three . I like the way ebony looks with block inlays . It plays well too . My BEM maple board is sharp to look at though . In this order :

Ebony
Maple
Rosewood

Fretless: Macassar ebony, Gaboon ebony, or cocobolo.

Fretted: the above, plus wenge or pau ferro.

Never had any use for maple boards, and I won't even consider rosewood.

I've got maple and rosewood, and I just like the look and sound of maple better (I play all traditional basses, Fender, MusicMan, etc)

Of the three, I'll have to say rosewood, but my actual preference is Kingwood, bar none

I like looking at Cocobolo as well, but I never tried it. And I can't think of any fingerboard woods I dislike.
