Your Gig Rig

This has been mine lately - 74 SVT and a pair of 112AV cabs, SVT-DI optional.

I was pumped all week to use my Little Bastard and ABM 115 rig for my Friday night gig... I pussed out though dang it! Instead, I went MB800 > NEO 212/NEO 112. I'm sure the LB-30 would have been fine but still... 800 watts :)

My pedal board... hehe. A tuner and wireless and.... I get to run the Chavuet 4 Bars and Mini-Kintas ;)

Maybe I'll grow nads and use this... It sounds sooo good!

I have an Orange Terror and considering an Orange 2x12 or 4x10... How do you like your cabinet?

Absolutely love it. I've had it for about 8 years now. I got it used for about $400. Probably wouldn't pay much over that, though. I've got a Mills 1x15 that sounds better, but it's much heavier.

I haven't heard the Orange 4x10 in comparison, though, so I can't speak to that.

I've owned a lot of mediocre equipment over the years (and still do,hehehe) and I've finally found my favorite cabs (Bag End), these sound (and feel) so sweet! For me, my ultimate tone can only be found in a band context. I really like the B2RE as it has been very easy to get a useful tone with my bandmates. The bottom pic is the stuff I like enough to keep but it stays home. The Carvin 215 cab works quite well for a gig rig but the Bag Ends are just so so sweet! My favorite bass of all time is an old 1986 Ibanez RB850 and I typically only use a Boss pedal tuner, I like effects but I have a hard time finding them useful in my band. I love seeing everybody's rig, thanks to all who posted!

I have an RB850 as well! :) My first bass. I bought it brand new back in 1986? :O Yours looks to be in better condition than mine. Mine is black. I had mine defretted professionally which was fine but I decided to seal the fretboard myself. Yikes! :O
Take care,
Brent

I've been playing with an acoustic trio recently (guitar/vox, percussion, bass), so I haven't been using the big rig - I've stripped down to this:

Fretless Jazz Bass > SansAmp Para Driver > (FX return) Fender Bassman 25 amp
(The tuner is connected to the "parallel out" of the SansAmp)

...and, I have to say, this rig sounds great! Just a Para Driver and a 25W amp - it sure suprised me.
