Your prettiest bass

It's a tie, can't decide.

OP here--I'm a Boomer. When my kids were growing up, they were allowed to use whatever vocabulary they wanted to use in the house. My wife and I expected proper language outside the house and tried to impress upon them that foul language indicated a stunted vocabulary. I bring this up to say that "OK, Boomer" is not allowed. Playful use is fine; derogatory use...well, nobody likes my response.

lol don’t care. I’m not in your house and I’m not your kid. Sounds like you’re being a....crochety old person. I’m just here for the basses!

Still can't decide which of mine would be number #1 prettiest, but my two Aria SBs are both in the running for sure. Had this picture on hand which isn't the greatest, but I still like the way it came out. Plus I don't really have any pictures of my rig on the forum yet, but it also happens to be included here (Btw, I promise my gear is not left in front of the wood stove when there are fires.. :D).

Yes, to dismiss an entire demographic based on their age is pretty limited and lazy thinking. Calling out the post as unnecessary is ok but not because of the age of the poster.

I know I'm in the minority on this, but bass players are friggin' weird. Do surgeons ever think about their prettiest scalpel? Carpenters about their prettiest hammer? It's a tool, just use it!

You’ve obviously never met either a collector of hand tools or - especially - antique hand tools. Here’s my Estwing roofing hammer, which is kind of their version of a Steinberger bass:

It sure doesn’t swing like a regular hammer and took some practice to learn how to use; the idea behind the shape is to give you enough force to drive a nail in with one stroke. I think it’s got a pretty nifty look to it as well.
