I had a very pink jazz copy that I regret letting go of to this day and would buy back in a heartbeat.
They all look good to me , too!!!!That’s an awful question, kinda like “Which of your children do you love the most?”

Even if I had a really pretty bass, like a purple one I saw earlier in thread, I always get jammed into some stupid corner of the stage, behind a tree, or once, around the corner of the deck we set up on. Twice this month, people from the audience came to the stage to find where the bass player was. I do, however, appreciate the beautiful hardware many have posted.I guarantee you that if you put your bass in a case at the end of a gig and do a poll, 99% of the audience won't even be able to tell you what color it was. Try it. And I'm guessing your woodworkers friends aren't posting pics of their tools no matter how "pretty" they are.
Wow. I love that purple accent. Perfect. Excellent !!!![]()
bob, i totally get where you're coming from on this --- i agree with you. my POV is: looks are for kids!
that said: shirley there's enough "kid" left in most of us to appreciate what our 'friends' think is beautiful --- it helps us define/appreciate our 'friends' a bit more. and just so you know where this 'friend' is coming from, i present to you what i think is my "prettiest bass" ---

Love it!! Kings attire for sure. Elvis and Prince would approve . Royalty indeed.
I was waiting for someone to post a ruby Ric so I didn’t have to
My favourite bass so far. I love the adjustable double split coil pups, and what appears to be active, clip-lead selectable tone and volume components. Too many knobs for me, but it's a beautiful thing, and probably plays as smooth as it looks! Definitely a "keeper". One suggestion: use a locking strap with it. You can't be too careful with a custom bass.
