You folks need a thicker skin. Why so sensitive and hostile? I wasn't insulting anyone or name calling. Just commented on a pic. Relax.
Oh, and please refer to tbe first amendment. I'm allowed to give my opinion.
You obviously didn't want to be here in the first place. No one serious about joining a community like this walks in then walks out so quickly and rashly.
My signature basses would more likely be modded instead of custom built but anyways i actually want 3 heavily modded conklins gt7s. All with bartolini pickups, Aguilar pre, black and gold hardware (as in black tuners with gold screws and nuts, black bridge with gold saddles) all refinished by staining the fingerboard black, stripping the body double staining myself and having clear done at my local shop. But that's not the crazy part. The crazy part i i want to modify them to be the following.
1. Standard 7 string fretted (beadgcf)
2. 3string fretted,4string fretless (think of the ibanez ashula)
3 is a 7 to 11 string conversion but 3 normal low b, e , and a strings coupled with an 8 string bass 4x2.

I would probably get something gaudy.
I am a huge fan of Halloween, so I would probably have a themed bass.
Neon orange PJ bass with an alder body, matching headstock.
Maple fret, black block inlays.
Black hardware.
Geezer EMGs.
Jack O Lantern eyes and mouth painted on the body. Either on the front, or a huge face on the back of the body.

I always like people that refer to the First Amendment. That applies to Government control, NOT private entity. Oh, and everyone else is entitled to give theirs, which is what they did.

Signature bass? Sounds like an admission that you're stuck in a rut.
Even at my advanced 56 years, I continuously find things that I like better than what I had a clue about just a few months prior.

This is it, and being made right now by Bruce Herron of Blue Star Guitar in Michigan. Sub-short scale 22" with Humbucker pickups and a thumb rest made from the same material as the pickguard, held down by the pickguard perimeter screws. I'm all about super short scale.
No one else has one like it
