YOUR TOP 3 BASS PEDALS...GO!

That was never in question. You don't use effects, cool. OK, I'm being really grumpy now, but why do people who don't use effects have to state that in an effects thread in an effects forum? You are by no means the first to do it. Is it envy of effects, insecurity about not using them, or something else that drives this?

Heh, we do seem to see that phenomenon on this board a lot. I'm not a huge effects freak and my setup is the bass->cable->tube amp sound most of the time. But effects are just fun. Sometimes even useful for me. But mostly just fun, they put a smile on my face the same way a barrel of puppies does. Ya gotta be some kind of bitter old curmudgeon (apologies to DB players) to not be down with those kinds of good times.

+1!!

Apology accepted. :spit:
My fave 3 used on my DB:
1. Radial PZed-Pre
2. Dr. Scientist Elements
3. Diamond Bass Compressor or Diamond Vibrato (tie)

Ha! Yeah for some reason I really like delay on my upright. Pre, comp, delay sounds about right for my DB tastes. I haven't tried fuzz or a vibrato in a pedal on DB, still trying to master the one with my hand. Here's a track with a Roland Space Echo on the DB:

I love using chorus, reverb, and delay to create textures between songs. As much as I love my SA Dimension Reverb and SA Orbital Modulator, the CDR makes the patch creation much more efficient.

Yeah koch, I'm seriously diggin the CDR, good call there. It was a great decision and I'm really happy I got one. Now my chorus search has ended as has my reverb. Even the delays rock. If I didn't have so many pedals on my board the CDR would probably be in my top three.
