YOUR TOP 3 BASS PEDALS...GO!

Ha! Yeah for some reason I really like delay on my upright. Pre, comp, delay sounds about right for my DB tastes. I haven't tried fuzz or a vibrato in a pedal on DB, still trying to master the one with my hand. Here's a track with a Roland Space Echo on the DB:

Wicked track! Thanks for posting that. Not muddy at all, as is so often decried about delay/reverb on bass.

Yeah, my hand vibrato sucks, hence the need for the Diamond Vibrato. Well actually, though my vibrato technique is indeed the pits, the Diamond Vibrato is one of my feeble attempts to make my DB sound like a B3 – my holy grail quest.

I've also got a cheap Korg multi-effects that was fun but a PITA to program, so I picked up an M5 not too long ago. So much easier to use and sounds better, but my expression pedal isn't compatible with it. Still, loads of silly OTT fun in that box including some spatial spacey sounds with the delays and reverbs. Before that I used a Korg 301DL Dynamic Echo, which I still have.

As for the Elements, I've tried subtle hair on some DB parts (I used it sparingly/periodically, and I'm sure I'm the only one who noticed), but at home the Elements is in its element and gets to bust out some silly feedback fun. All my FX (on DB) are primarily home entertainment, but I occasionally goof it up at gigs. I've got a possible new project coming up where I may get to use the Elements on DB in earnest.

Charnett Moffett & Miles Mosley are my guides on this FX journey.

play in two very different bands, but..

most used: Fuzzrocious Rat Tail, Boss DD7 delay, Akai headrush.

EDIT: My Xotic X blender and Sansamp BDDI are on 100% of the time though... so technically they are being USED more, but in terms of what i'm switching on/off most....... (currently using my old LS-2 as the X blender is being repaired)

Should be easy as i only have a handfull. But most important to me would be:
LS-2 (blends every other effect with my clean tone)
Aguilar Octamizer (Fat and smooth)
Swollen Pickle (my fuzz of choice so far....)

Thanks for the listen, glad you liked it!

Sounds like you want an EHX POG. That pedal will turn your bass into a B3 without the leslie. Add a phaser for the leslie and you've got a cool faux organ patch.

1) EHX Enigma QBalls
huge fun though i use it sparesly in my band, mostly for jams and little freakouts
2) EBS Octabass
it does what it's supposed to which i always appreciate
3) EHX Bass Big Muff
lovely creamy distortion. i sort of stopped using it since i got my fender super bassman and i switch to the od channel (with a homemade footswitch) when i want some crunch. i still keep the pi aside in case i don't get to use my amp at some gig or whatever

...well for it is the only other box in my effectcase i mention my tu-3 as well. again it does what it should and therefore i like it.
