Zoom B3 - First Look

I find the looper pretty darn easy to use. I actually just got done jamming with the looper. It's fun.

does it quantize the loop ends? if you are off a tad?

Is there any way to line-in music with the B3?

NO aux in. I have an aux in on my amp, so I use that. You can also plug it into your computer and play along with music that way I believe. The lack of an aux in is disappointing.

I believe you can choose to quantize if you want. I think someone mention this earlier in this thread or the other B3 thread.

thanks willsellout for answering, ill dig back thru......

i can see why you would not want an aux in if it would then fx the incoming music as well...a thru would have been nice, but ideally the B3 could go into a mixer, or mini mixer, along with whatever other ins and then to the amp...or strait to the comp (as DI, swank!) and to a daw which can be playing music, recording , etc....

Mine works great from one of the 250mA outlets. It pulls 140-160mA so the 100mA outlets are definitely out of the question.

The demo video on the zoom site features a really nice P-bass tone at 1 min 30 sec, using a patch called W10 Big D.

But the manual indicates that B0 W10 Big D is Octaver + distortion. Can anyone confirm if that patch sounds like the tone on the demo video?
