Quick question- what is the best way to copy the new google web files? I managed to get it to work by copying a file one at a time to my google drive folder, then dragging from it to my editor. If I try to download it it downloads an XML file, not the .b3p file. I want to just copy them all and create a new patch folder for them to drag in from. I'm on Mac. If I want to share, how can I add to the files now?

I just tested downloading a patch and it worked fine, it downloaded as a .b3p file.

All I did was click on the patch in the list, a new screen appeared with an option of "Download" in the bottom right hand corner.
I clicked "Download" and it downloaded as a .bp3

Is this what you did lokikallas?
If so then I can't help.
(Maybe buy a PC! ;) )

often, when using effects, the effects themselves are 1/2 of the equation. Adjusting technique or even strings, pickups even the bass should be considered.

For this in particular, consider a foam mute or some slight palm muting to separate the notes

I've created a hilarious Meshuggah rhythm guitar patch:
Metalzone: Gain 56 Tone 70 Level 40 Bal 100
Graphic Eq: Gonna summarize, Cuts 90 a lot, dips up for 120, dips down for 400-800 in a V shape, then goes back up close to 0 for 4.5k and 10k. All cut, no boosts. I'm using a PBass so I figure where this is where everyone else's settings will differ. Cut rumbling lows and scoop mids hard, keep your presence and you'll be fine.
ZnR Gate: Thresh 11 Detects instrument in Level 100

I just got a B3, had some luck with getting some sounds I wanted already. I'm working on creating a patch for the song hot n cold by katy perry

Any ideas on starting points for the initial synth sound? Seems like the best course would be an effect with a rate that matches the rhythm.

EDIT:
Had pretty good success with MonoSyn -> Slicer -> BitCrush. I don't appear to have access to the google drive share or I'd add it there for some feedback.

Hello first post on this thread. I don't use any distortion whatsoever, but I really like the sound on this track. How best to go about getting this on a B3? I do not have a clue about distortion, overdrive, fuzz...!

Here's a new patch idea I came up with. this patch is an attempt to duplicate the warm distortion sounds of a maxon distortion master pedal and making it optimized for bass. a very smooth sounding distortion patch that would be great for hard rock and heavy metal.

Bass distortion master

Section 1: znr: thresh: 17, dectect: grnlft, level:100

Section 2: dist 1: gain: 70, tone: 45, level: 90, balance: 18

Section 3: flip top: bass: 5, mid: 4, treble: 3, midfq: 300hz, gain: 70, ultra: low, cab: swr4x10, mix: 50

It's definitely a synth with a rate control. you might get the same results using a mono synth effect on the pmw waveform with a slicer.

Marcus miller has been known for using swr amps. perhaps an swr amp model with an exciter effect would give you that marcus miller sound. also if you own a jazz bass, it'll emulate his sound perfectly.

Section 2: flanger: depth: 75, rate: 27, resonance: 7, predelay: 1, mix: 75, level: 100, locut: 200hz

Section 3: heaven: bass: 5, mid: 3, treble: 4, midfq: 300hz, gain: 40, level: 90, enhnc: 2, cab: swr4x10, mix: 50
