Zoom b3 patch Ideas

The zoom ms-60b is a stompbox version of the zoom b3 and those that own a zoom ms-60b is more than welcome to check out this thread for ideas. if you want to start one, go ahead. a zoom ms-60b patch ideas thread would make a great edition to the effect forum. I plan to get one sometime soon for my live set-up. and if you start one, I'd be more than glad to share some patch ideas I come up with for the zoom ms-60b.

Here's a new patch I came up with. this is a smooth stereo chorus patch with warm lows and clear highs.

Smooth bass chorus

Section 1: bottom b: bass: 3, treble: 5, level: 70

Section 2: stereocho: depth: 75, rate: 27, mix: 57, locut: 200hz, level: 80

Section 3: smr: bass: 4, mid: 4, treble: 5, midfq: 350hz, gain: 45, level: 90, enhnc: 2, cab: swr4x10, mix: 50

cool ill start one in just a few minutes for the MS-60B normally i was very close minded about multi effect pedals mainly due to line 6.............. then i bought a zoom ms-60b its not part of my live rig and i plan on getting a B3 for my studio rig

Some of the B3 patches here will work on the 60B since they share many but not all effects units. This probably reduces the interest in a separate thread somewhat. If you give your thread a bit more time it might take off, however. Try adapting some some of the B3 patches to your 60B thread. A bump now and then from posting a reworked B3 patch may be all you need to get it to "catch".

That's cool...if I do own a zoom ms-60b, I can post some patch ideas on your thread. I use a zoom b3 for recording and live performances. you'll find that the zoom b3 is real handy for recording music.

Yeah true. the patch ideas on this thread can work on the ms-60b. however, the zoom b3 patch ideas thread would be useful for those who own a zoom b3 and the zoom ms-60b patch ideas thread can be very useful for those who own a zoom ms-60b. even though they are similar, it can be helpful either way.

Anybody got any ideas for what would make a good copy for the cleanish sound from panic stations by muse? It sounds like a slightly overdriven clean tone but I tried it earlier with my zoom B3 and couldn't find anything to suitably fit the crunch from his tone, any help would be greatly appreciated :) Plus it sounds like he's done some sort of mid range boost.

Has anyone used an active 5 string with the B3?

Just ordered one and noticed it does not have a clip meter, and I'm wondering if this unit can handle a low B with an active preamp boosted (even with the active/passive switch set to active).

Thoughts?

I've tried it with my Ibanez sr305 and it sounded pretty cool. and yes it can handle low b strings very well. as long as you have your active bass at a setting that doesn't distort the signal on your zoom b3, it'll play just fine.
