No need to apologize. I am just glad I wasn't missing something cause it was driving me nuts. Now how does this effect change things though?
I don't notice a huge difference either way. I keep it gtrln as it is first in my chain.
Beats me, but at least I know now that it's guitar line(gtrln) not ground lift(grnlft). I won't make that mistake again.
Here's a new patch I came up with. this patch has a bright overdriven bass sound with a steady balance between lows and highs.
Bright overdrive
Section 1: limiter: thresh: 25, ratio: 4, level: 75, release: 4

Here's a patch idea I came up with. this patch is a light distortion patch with strong clarity and punch.

I know this is a patch thread but I just wanted to say I used the B3 on a bass track that didn´t sound so good and saved the day.
The performance was ok but the tone was awful. I was about to call the bassist to re-track but before, I wanted to try out the B3. I patched to the interface and give it a go. Use only 2 slots:
1. bypassed
2. 165 compressor (I think it´s called like that)
3. SVT head (all flat with just a slight mid boost) with Eden 4x10" cab
This little box is awsome.

That's easy. the gallien-krueger 800rb model and a lush chorus can get you that duff mckagen sound.. duff mckagen has been known for using gallien-krueger amplifiers and using chorus effects.

I find an expression pedal for volume swells is more realistic as you can simulate a bow a little closer... Also, a little chorus helps with the illusion
Here's a new patch idea I came up with. this patch is the warm metal bass patch with an ampeg svt model resulting in delivering a tubey grit with solid lows.
