Hi Guys,
Having sold my B3 and now using a MS60B, I can get access to my previous B3 patches on my PC ......but only the ones I saved. Does anyone know how I can get access to all the factory presets on screen without purchasing another B3 ?
Pete
Agreed, but this only shows what you have edited and saved. What I need is all the factory presets as supplied.
it's because you don't have a B3 paired with the softwear after the uninstallation. My Zoom online does not have a folder in it.
I have removed and re installed software, but still no folder.
The link does not work......the only thing I think I can do, is to borrow a B3, link it up to my PC (usb), then see if it will give me the factory presets.
Im sure you are right, because it is not liked up when I open the share program since I have reinstalled it, it does not recognize anything.
Ill keep you posted.
Thanks again
Pete
Hi TitaniumRx,
GREAT ! ...........I now have all the factory presets.
Thanks again for your patience.

I bought a B3 from a talkbass member a couple weeks ago, and love it! This is my first delve into the world of effects. I was more of a plug in and just play guy, so my knowledge of different effects is elementary. My goals with the B3 are to have sections of effects to use with each song my band plays. I am looking for something to help beef up my tone during solo's but not an all out distortion. Would the tube screamer do that, or would i need to use a compression pedal in conjunction? I am in the middle of remodeling our new home, so my practice/exeriment time is diminished for the time being.
Many ways with B3 to do that you want.First try the Booster or Exciter. You can have good boosted scooped sound with Bottom B.
The color button on MXR DI+ and a little volume makes your solos great. In fact, all the preamps on B3 is capable to bring you there.
I tried the MXR DI+ and the distortion was overwhelming. I will try again and dial back the distortion. Thank you TitaniumRx.
Thinking about pulling the trigger on one of these units, but my last multi effects processor sucked the tone when in bypass mode. What is the verdict on the B3?. Does it suck the tone in bypass?
I didnt notice it... anyway there are some diy tru bypasses that can be easily madeThinking about pulling the trigger on one of these units, but my last multi effects processor sucked the tone when in bypass mode. What is the verdict on the B3?. Does it suck the tone in bypass?
Cool! Will do, I have a gig this Saturday, so hopefully I can try it before handTry only the color, left switch, not the Distortion, right switch 3th page.
And to others preamps lower the gain until is clean.
