Zoom b3 patch Ideas

Here's another patch idea I came up with. this patch is similar to the digitech bass distortion patch, only with a proco rat model(since one of the morph settings duplicates a proco rat).

Digimetal

Section 1: squeak: gain: 70, tone: 35, level: 100, balance: 25

Section 2: any effect you want

Section 3: fliptop: bass: 4, mid: 4, treble: 3, midfq: 250hz, gain: 45, level: 90, ultra: low, cab: ag8x10, mix: 50

.
Not intending to sound like the thread police, but this "Zoom B3 Patch Ideas" thread is really heading off topic guys. :rollno:

No big deal, unless you're a newbie scrolling through, trying to find something in the future and getting jumped on when you post a new question/topic about that same thing because you gave up trying to find it amongst all the off-topic stuff in other threads!

Crystalman85's original posting:

Shouldn't a lot of this (non-Patch Idea) discussion be in one of these?
Zoom B3 - good enough amp models and effects for guitar?
or
Zoom B3 As Preamp Part 2
or even the old
Zoom B3 multi-effects part 2
or one of the other countless non-Patch Idea topics in TB?

.... just sayin', you know?

Absolutely right OzzyGreg.I just delete my last offtopic post.Lets keep the place clean.

J it's perfect! Honestly sometimes I wonder why I even us an amp? This patch has that 80's wonky mid thing going on. I rolled back the neck pickup on my 62 jazz just a bit and boing! Awesome! The only thing I did was added a little more of the cab sim since I had headphones on.
Take care,
Brent
Glad you like it! After creating the patch with a mixer and headphones I fine tuned it at soundcheck before my show two weekends ago so that I knew it would work in a band setting. If I get a chance today I'll hook up my B3 to the computer and put my other 4 patches up.

Here's a new patch I came up with. this patch is similar to mr. beef 2, only with an aguilar amp model and an exciter effect which gives it a warm and edgy sound that can fill up the band mix.

Mr. beef 3

Section 1: exciter: bass: 3, treble: 4, level: 90

Section 2: t-scream: gain: 30, tone: 70, level: 100, balance: 45

Section 3: ag amp: bass: 3, mid: 4, treble: 5, midfq: 250hz, gain: 40, level: 90, char: both, cab: ag8x10, mix: 50

Here's another patch idea I came up with. this patch is an updated version of the tight metal bass patch.

Tight metal patch 2

Section 1: m comp: thresh: 20, ratio: 4, level: 90, attack: 7

Section 2: squeak: gain: 70, tone: 45, level: 100, balance: 25

Section 3: bass: 4, mid: 4, treble: 3, midfq: 300hz, gain: 40, level: 90, char: both, cab: ag8x10, mix: 50

Here's another patch idea I came up with. this patch is an updated version of the fat metal bass patch.

Fat metal bass 2

Here's a new patch I came up with. this patch closely duplicates the overdrive channel of the fender rumble v3 amps.

Rumble distortion

Section 1: m comp: thresh: 17, ratio: 4, level: 90, attack: 90

Section 2: squeak: gain: 25, tone: 50, level: 100, balance: 15

Here's another patch idea I came up with. this patch closely emulates the scooped sounds based on the contour sound from the fender rumble v3.

V3 contour

Section 1: m comp: thresh: 17, ratio: 4, level: 90, attack: 90

Section 2: d.i plus: bass: 3, mid: 0, treble: 2, gain: 50, blend: 70, level: 90, color: on, chan: clean

Section 3: b-man: bass: 4, mid: -2 , treble: 3, midfq: 300hz, gain: 45, level: 90, deep: off, cab: gk4x10, mix: 50

Here's a new patch I came up with. this patch was inspired by a friend's rig. this patch has a stacked bass sound with some crunch and some punch. suitable for rock and metal music.

Crunch metal bass

Section 1: m comp: thresh: 20, ratio: 5, level: 90, attack: 7

Section 2: d.i plus: bass: 4, mid: 4, treble: 5, gain: 50, blend: 20, level: 100, color: on, chan: dist

Section 3: ag amp: bass: 4, mid: 4, treble: 3, midfq: 300hz, gain: 45, level: 90, char: bright, cab: e4x10, mix: 50
