Really starting to get into my B3! The "SVT" patch is nice. The "Bass-BB" is sweet, for now it's standing in for my Pickle Pie B - true test will be in a band setting at practice on Thursday. The Stereo Chorus and "M-Filter" are nice also. Can't wait to go deeper and see what else I find!

For two beaners new, the B3 is more than worth the cash!!

well it was a long time a used it but what a remember is that the clean guitar sound was great!

IT sounds ZOOM!

But a can try to find the adapter and all get back! im prepare to move to canada from sweden right know so everything is uppsidedown!

Well you can buy it from me ;)!

ill get back if a find the stuff!

I just picked up Zoom B2 and I was wondering how I record with it. I have a bass and a PC but no amp. How do I record to the computer without the usb port? Can somebody tell me all the cords, programs, etc that I need? Thanks in advance! (Sorry if this has been gone over before, brand new here and I tried searching for the info I needed.)

I haven't used a 1/4" to USB cable myself, but there might be some latency issues if reviews are to be believed. You might be better off looking for a USB interface.

If your PC has a good enough on board sound card, you can even get something as simple as Invalid Link Removed and plug into the line in. This works well for one of my laptops which does have a good sound card built in.

Thanks Champbassist for the advice! I will opt for your latter suggestion and get the 1/4 to 1/8 cord instead of guitar cable-to-usb cord. Getting a USB interface sounds very expensive. Cheers! :)

Enjoying my B3... This thing is a gas giver for me though. I find myself loving an emulated pedal so much I have to buy it! I dig the mark bass emulation and I've compared my bass big muff to the patch and it's suprisingly close. I like the delays and pitch shifting enough to hold off on sone purchases. Best multi I've ever tried and I've had most.

You simply cant beat the value of the Zoom B3 for all it does. Please Samson/Zoom give us the 6 pedal update!

While you can record using the 1/4 to 1/8 cable, you won't be able to monitor, i.e. you won't be able to listen to what you're are playing as you're playing it: a feature that will be provided by an interface. At best, you could use a splitter cable to split the signal from your B2, with one part of the signal from the B2 going to a set of headphones, while the other goes into the PC via the 1/4to 1/8 cable (this is what I did back when I didn't have an interface).

For such requirements, I use the most obvious solution, which is to use separate headphones to listen to the music and my bass. If you want, you could buy something like a Vox headphone amp which should do the trick by allowing you to use it to play along with your CD or MP3 player, with its aux in.

Plug in the Zoom to the USB interface then plug in the interface to computer? Where do I put the headphones? In the Zoom or in the interface?
