Zoom recorders reliable?

Has anyone experienced intermittent problems with the H2 recorder. The first problem I noticed was that it would stop working during a recording. I use it pugged in usually and when I check out the device it says, "PLease Power down". Or something like that. And the instructions are not clear on the display. Theres a line going through it too. Some times it works fine and no problems but its becoming a pain. Its only about 2 or 3 years old.

I've had zero issues with my H4n.

My old H2 worked perfectly (and still does for the buyer) and so does my new H2n.

I'm pretty tough on my h2 and it gets a fair amount of use.
It's held up better than I thought it would.

The two Zoom products I own/use are the H2 and R24. They both get used... a lot. And both have been 100% reliable. If your unit is not working properly on a regular basis, and there's nothing obvious about the problem... call a service center. Zoom does make good stuff.

One thought is... maybe the flash card needs to be reset?
