Does anyone know a good slap patch? Exactly like the one on program 6, but i overwrote that one with the Ric patch accidentally.
Here, give this patch a try.
Pre-effect: exciter: 40%, type: 1(if you want trebly) or 2(if you want bassy), effect: 75%
Amp model: scooped: vol.:80%, mid freq: 2, bass: 57%, mid: -17%, treble: 70%
Cab model: 410 modern, moise reduction: 87%, program level:89%
Sorry if I deleted the slap setting post. I was meant to edit it, but deleted by accident. I'm glad that the slap setting helped you out.
Once again, if anyone here wants to try duplicating a curtain sound on the korg ax series of multi-effects processors(ax3b, ax5b, ax3000b), don't hesitate to ask. youtube clips would help out too.
Yeah, I like, for what i paid for it it's good. Just when i use the trebly effects (such as the ric patch you gave me) my 15" amp crackles and sounds like there's bacon cooking in there. My amp doesn't have a tweeter and is a low-freq driver (i think). Is that normal, and should I stop using those effects if that's happening?
That's cool. as for the ric patch, it shouldn't be a bother if it doesn't make that noise if you're not playing it. if the crackling noise bother you that much when you're playing it, try turning down the treble control a little bit on the ric patch.
Ok, thanks. Also with the nr, if I turn it down, I can't hear the buzzing, but after i strike a note I can hear it. Is that just dodgy nr, or are all like that so you can hear the note?
They're pretty much all like that. although some noise reductions on other multi-effects processors can be a little dodgy. but as long as you have the noise reduction at a good level, you won't hear any noise(like a hum, a sizzle, or a buzzing) when you're not playing.
