The old timers I used to gig with (RIP), used hand signals. X number of fingers pointing up was for how many sharps the key has, x number of fingers pointing down for how many flats the key has. Those guys could play countless “standards”. They’d do 30 gigs in December.
Times have changed, but trial by fire on the bandstand helped me develop an ear for chord changes.
I posted the manual earlier with the specs.
Can you deduce line or instrument from this:
Wish I'd read that before I got rid of it.HI! I wanted to add some more info on this issue for future reference! I had the same issue with these pedals and found out it was the ribbon cable connecting the pedal to the output jack / output XLR. Check my blog at Homepage or the post at Darkglass – Vintage Deluxe and Microtubes B7K HISS fix
I’ve been having them for 40 years. The first time I was driving and people were in the car with me. Of course I acted like nothing was happening. Took a year to finally get a diagnosis. Big relief!oh man, I have started getting those Migraine Auras in the past year or so myself. Pretty odd thing to have happen out of the blue. Once I understood what was happening, I was less concerned, but still kinda freaky for sure!
I just bought the same bass. I bought a 5/16 pocket truss rod wrench from StewMac. It probably is a 8 mm nut. Loosen the tension on the strings and insert the wrench (socket) on the nut. Just make sure the socket is fully seated on the nut. Thankfully my truss rod turns because this bass sounds great! 8mm decimal is .315in. 5/16 decimal is .3125.View attachment 7543009View attachment 7543010

When I went to adjust my truss rod with my allen key, I noticed a blockage inside the truss rod where I’d normally adjust it from.
Am I using the wrong tool to adjust the truss
rod? Is it something stuck inside?
The bass is a Yamaha BBVII.
That is the one!! Its a good one!!I did! Couldn't turn down a 9.5 pound 70s P bass with a great neck, despite already having too many precision basses. Oh and do you remember the decoration on the headstock?
