This probally has been done before, but I can't seem to find it anywhere so I'll give it a shot. Wouldn't it be nice to have a thread soley dedicated to sound clips of bass effects. I'm not talking songs with the effects, but just a bass through the pedal into the recording software. No geetars, no drums, just the bass and effect. I've seen a few pages around the net that have some samples, but I think it'd be great to have a thread with tons of samples.

Anyone else like this idea?

Are you just wanting pedals or would processors also be wanted?

I have an ART Nightbass SE that I could record all the preset effects. There is over 400 but I could put them in one folder by themselves and give a brief description of the type of effect it is if anybody thinks it would be worthwhile.

me too!
if i were you, only do some of the cool ones and some of the amp sims and stuff.
the Nightbass has so many patches that sound similar (reverbs for instance, there are at least 100 total) that i would only go with the best ones (or your favorite ones, or both), so there is enough room for me to put a bunch of Nightbass samples too! (if people want them!)
