CrazySean said:"White hot bass" sounds like Cliff Burton being electricuted. Nice!
Looks like the Art Nightbass Se will be the newest addition my GAS list. Those of some of the coolest effects I have heard. Very original as well. It's midi too, right?
superbassman2000 said:edit: and you can also get a windows based editor, so you can edit and create effects on your computer, through midi!

CrazySean said:You mean you can create custom effects on your computer and then upload them as patches to the nightbass? How cool is that?! BTW, my ADA MB1 is also midi... maybe they can be friends.![]()
Also, Les Claypool uses a Nightbass IIRC....
EDit: Can you upload the effects as .wav files? That would cool to combine effects. I could record a distortion sound from my ADA MB1 and upload it the Nightbass... that be pretty cool, indeed...

Kelly Lee said:Been discontinued for quite awhile. Good thing is that you can pick them up looking brand new (or darn near) very cheap. Mine is actually the original Nightbass that has the SE upgrade chip. The date of the chip is June of '93 and as far as I know, that was the last incarnation of the Nightbass![]()
