Pedal sample thread

posted some more, i'm trying not to step too much on kelly's feet with the Nightbass samples!!

Dude, by all means step! :D If you come up with something that sounds really cool to you with the same preset, go for it. Maybe actually tweak the preset with the EQ settings and such to show what else you can get from the same preset? Who knows!

I'm still waiting for other people to join in here :hmm: What gives?

Thanks Superbassman - I've sent U a pm. I wondered what use a recorder would ever be on a unit and thought it was just a bells & whistles gimmic. However, I've now found it so useful - when palying around practicing by myself and stumbling on some great riff you'd forget by the next morning - just hit the record button now - it's there 4 next time. Also we were trying to polish up writing a new song the other night and fell into this really nice grove - just hit the record button once again to remember the bass groove so I can write it down later. length of memory isn't great - but enough. I now think the bnx3 recorder is the greatest thing since sliced bread!

I would like to hear the Digitech BNX3 as well.
Thks - I'm currently working on them. Superbassman2000 is helping me out gettintg the files to you. Recorded some samples last night but had trouble getting these to Superbassman2000 - will try and sort it and get at least one posted within the next few days. I'm new at all this stuff and making heaps of mistakes but I'll get there I'm sure.

OK fellow bassers, finally got the samples to upload.
I'm not sure if these are retrievable though, my server is having problems.
Try ftp://[email protected]/Digitech Bnx3/

A little fore word before anyone beats up on me, some of the files are quite large ( 4megs ) and some have drum tracks. Now I know the thread originator called for no drums, just effects however the BNX comes with it's own computerised drum-machine and some of the effects really require some sort of beat to make musical sense.
Now I have a bit of experience in doing these samples, I'll do some more plus redo some of my first posts to reduce file size.
In addition I'll do a couple of clean ones as a comparison.
Would someone let me know if they get these 1st samples and comment on sound quality plse.
Special thanks to Superbassman2000 and Lockout - you guys are "just the ticket!"
