Another quick update on Christophe's 6 headless, I have the ABM hardware now and ive started blocking up the wings for the bass.

This turned up today guys!

Its the Noll 3 band parametric preamp which is going into Christophe's 6 string headless custom with the Delano JSBC 6 HE Pickup set, should sound real nice with tonnes of scope on the sound.

First time using this Noll preamp, used the standard 3 band Noll in a fretless and it sounded good. Its a very smooth sounding preamp. Have you used them also?

Hey Robbie, Ive been trying to think how I would carve that, and Im at a total loss - an angle grinder wouldnt leave such a nice edge and a router would need a ramped template.

I think that bass would be a stunner left natural! Is the customer still after chrome paint?

Hi Mikey,

I used a angle grinder with a blue 80 grit flat disc on a flexi back holder. You just have to take your time and fettle away

How do you do that type of body carving? I have decided to abandon routers for shaping and do it all by hand (well, maybe a little help from a hand-held dremel, and sanding belt/disc sometimes, but you know what i mean), and the hand carving has become my favoate part of the build, so i am trying to experiment with styles and methods.
