Yeah that does look nice. I wouldn't mind having that color but I don't really think it fits me. I would rather have the Midnight Blue, White with black pick gaurd, or Jet Glo with black pick gaurd.

Maybe it's just my computer monitor, but to me that shade of red looks more like "milky tomato soup star" than "blood star". Not so appealing to me. If they made a solid deep ruby red, equivalent to their "midnight blue", then I would be WAY into that!

so pretty much you'd be paying for the color......a brand new one on MF goes for $1,300 plus shipping and a a used non-rare color goes for around $800 to $1,200 on ebay.....so would this be worth it, cause I am seriously tempted. I love the way this thing looks, it's dead sexy.........it says "sleeze rock" all over it which is what I pretty much play

I got the devil on one shoulder screamin do it do it, while the hot lil' angel on the other shoulder is screamin no don't! wait the hell with it buy the thing, cause they are never around in that color

Looks similar but for the red fretboard.
I belive it's actaul name is Redneck, not bloodstar as the seller has said.

you can own that very same bass for a fraction of the cost, my buddy has the same bass except its shot to ****, beat up, and oh yea broken truss rods. he wants 200 for it, and im almost tempted to take it off his hands but ive already thrown enough $$$ at my current guitar

The redneck, tuxedo and blackstar are considered the rarest of all the Ricks - the redneck is all red (including the freboard), the tuxedo has a bleached fretboard and black hardware and the blackstar is completely black insluding the binding. there are, however, around 50 of each in existence.

What you see here is a standard albeit no longer available red finish one. i forget the proper colour but it usually ends in 'glo'
