Ashdown is

not very original.
Not only did ashdown steal the name and color from SWR's best amp(Electric Blue) they also "stole" the name Superfly
from Zinky!

Ashdown can only dream they could make an amp as good
as the SWR EB or Zinky.

I didn't know SWR ever made a good amp. (IMHO) While SWR may work fine for some, I find them underpowered and too scooped sounding to be of practical use.

Edit..I see its the head version of the baby blue. Truly the only good sounding amp SWR ever did make.

I find Ashdowns to be a great reliable, inexpensive, and great sounding products. So what if the color of the amp is the same as another? Are you saying that every black amplifier is copying the first black amplifier? There are so many companies out there with so many models there's bound to be models that look similar.

Typed like someone who hasn't played one!

To bad ashdown can't make a good sounding amp.

I can make my farts sound better than Ashdown.
Hmm same color and name=SWR EB
same name=Zinky

...so your saying the rest of SWR's amps are great?

Otherwise, since when are the rest of the Professional Series bad amps? They aren't necessarily 'great', nor everyone's cup of tea, but they are certainly good overall. Or do you want bang for buck? Well, that's what GK is for.
Otherwise, my 350 head has served me well for the past several years. I've played many amps, and while SWR isn't orgasmic, nor the best bang for the buck, it's a very nice, professional behaving amplifier, with clarity and character that cuts thru the mix. Maybe that's not what you look for in an amp, but that doesn't make an amp bad.

I doubt it. Ashdowns make amps and amps reproduce bass guitar or other signals in a louder fashion. I would like to see your bum make a bass sound better than an Ashdown. :hmm:
Yep, but I don't have to be LOUD to have a good tone!
Plus the acoustics in my rooms are pretty nice:rolleyes:

Wrong again Corky. I own an Ashdown, so obviously, I've played through one. You, on the other hand, can't say the same for the Sadowsky you bash on another thread.
