Best Bass For Thrash Metal?

In all seriousness, anything with EMG's and a 35" scale is a good starting point.
But ultimately, the tone is in your fingers (and hopefully, your loud amp).
Cliff Burton did it just fine on a modded Ric & an Aria, but I doubt most folks will suggest those.
 
the jazz basses are pretty good, i play on a black thrash band, most of the time i use and ibanez gsr active, and it sounds pretty good, theres many basses made for metal, like esp, dean, bc rich etc.anyhow y recommend you this one
