VT Bass frequency response plots

I just downloaded FDeck's RTA software and have been messing about with it. I did a few screenshots of the VT Bass at various settings for anyone who's interested. The aim was to see if it suffered from the same mid-scoop as the BDDI, how flat the EQ was with the EQ knobs at noon, and how to get the best approximation to a flat EQ.

Character all the way down, all EQ knobs at 12 o'clock:

Finally, I managed to get the flattest curve possible withthese EQ settings (apart from the massive treble rolloff due to the speaker sim!):

That's pretty interesting. I'll have to try that setting and see how it works. I always thought the other controls weren't flat at 12:00, but apparently they are except for the treble.

Those bass/mid/character knobs aren't quite at 12 on the flat settings, just a hair past. Makes all the difference!
Interesting...maybe I can use that to find out what missing in my SVT rig. I can't quite put my finger on the problem, but I'm thinking I have a lack of 800 hz or an over-abundance of 125 hz. But I can't quite tell. It's still new to me.

It would be great to know what the signal generator is generating since pink noise isn't flat to begin with and would heavily skew the results to look more like an equal loudness contour.

But what a cool analysis tool!
I'm not sure, but I believe it generates sine waves at all frequencies all at once. I've used it a couple times...very maddening. I literally can't take that sound longer than 3 seconds. But it works pretty good.
