I've never heard of bidule. Is that another free one? If so can you provide a link to a download so that I can check that one out too please.

bidule is a modular audio environment--it's not free but practically at 70 bucks for all it can do--you should still check it out :)

The one issue is that bidule doesn't really record nicely--at least compared to the nice multitrack recorders out there...if this one doesn't really work, I am going to try reaper
